Moto drivers are 99% safe. This beeing said, be careful about your glass in certain girls bars. A few incident have been reported lately of people conveniently falling asleep on the back of the moto while getting out of the bar, then woke up robbed in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, if by any chance you are getting mugged, don't panic, don't play the hero as there are still many guns around, just give the $15 you are carrying, and everything will be fine and smooth.SnatchThere is of course a few tricks, especially in towns, but in the end it's just a couple of dollars more. Always control the quality of what you are buying, bargain, but don't forget that the dollar doesn't have the same value here, don't bargain too hard and always keep your smile.AccidentsTaffic in Phnom Penh is pretty hazardous, on the first time, you'll really wonder how this can actually work, then after a while, you realize it's not working so well. Accidents are common and as people usually wear light clothing and no helmet, the results are often quite ugly. In case of major problem, the only solution is to fly to Bangkok after a visit to Calmette hospital, the most serious in Phnom Penh.
